The Collison Family

Ann (Collison) Carter

Married: Thomas Carter on 30 November 1797, in St Mary, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England

Children: Death: 8 January 1815, at the Glebe house, Tandragee, county Armagh, Ireland
The Gentleman's Magazine February 1815 p180
Jan. 8. At the Glebe-house, Tandragee, after confinement, aged 38, Mrs. Carter, wife of the very Rev. the Dean of Tuam.

Notes: An Ann Collison was baptised in St Mary, Hitchin on 19 January 1770 (IGI batch C072483), the daughter of John Collison and Ann. This seems a likely candidate for this Ann Collison, but a check of the marriage record is probably required for verification of the parents. "Collison, John & Son, wine merchants" are mentioned in the 1794 Hitchin Directory.
