Will:
  THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT  of me ROBERT EDWARD CREER of number "eight" Rosemount in the town of Douglas Retired Grocer. I revoke all wills and testamentary writings by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my Last Will and Testament. I appoint my wife Margaret Eleanor Creer and my sister France Elizabeth Hirst Executrices of this my will – I give and bequeath to the said Frances Elizabeth Hirst a legacy of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS.
  I give, devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate save as aforesaid unto my said wife. To Hold to her for her life or until she marry again – AND upon her decease or second marriage (whichever event shall first happen) I give, devise and bequeath such real and personal estate to the Frances Elizabeth Hirst to hold to her and her heirs executors, administrators and assigns, (the said Frances Elizabeth Hirst her heirs, executors administrators, and assigns, being hereinafter included in the designation "the Trustee") Upon trust upon the youngest of my daughters attaining the age of twenty one years as to the premises number “"nine" Strand Street in the town of Douglas for my daughter Ada France Creer absolutely. As to the premises number "eight" Rosemount Douglas and as sum of FOUR HUNDRED POUNDS for my daughter Mona Creer absolutely. AND as to the rest residue and remainder of my estate real and personal, in Trust for my three daughters equally as tenants in common and the issue then living of any of my three daughters as shall be then dead such issue however taking only and if more than one equally between them the share which his, her, or their deceased parent would if then living have taken. AND in case any of my said daughters shall die prior to my youngest daughter attaining the age of twenty one years as aforesaid without leaving lawful issue the share to which such daughter is entitled shall go to the survivors or survivor of my said daughters and their lawful issue in equal shares such issue however taking only the share which his, her, or their, deceased parent would if then living have taken. I declare that the Trustee shall after the death or second marriage of my said wife (whichever first happens) apply the whole or so much as the Trustee shall think fit of the annual income of the share which any child or grandchild of mine is entitled in expectancy for or towards the maintenance of such child or grandchild. AND ALSO that my Trustee may after the death or second marriage of my wife (whichever event first happens) or previously if my wife consent raise and advance any sum not exceeding one half of the then expectant or vested share of any child or grandchild and apply the same for his or her advancement or benefit. I declare that the share to which any female shall become entitled under this my will shall be for her sole and separate use free from the control debts or engagements of any husband she may marry.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 17th day of June one thousand nine hundred and one (1901)

The will was proved on 19 October 1914. This is the probate petition (transcribed by John A. Creer at Isle of Man Family History Society)
  In the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man Common Law Division Testamentary Jurisdiction
  To His Honour Stewart Stevenson Moore Esquire His Majesty’s First Deemster and a Judge of The said Division
  The humble Petition of Margaret Eleanor Creer of Number "8" Rosemount in the Borough of Douglas widow
  Sheweth:
Robert Edward Creer late of Number "8" Rosemount aforesaid Retired Grocer husband of your petitioner died at Number "8" Rosemount aforesaid on or about the sixth day of October 1914 leaving a Will dated the seventeenth day of June 1901 whereof he appointed your petitioner and his sister France Elizabeth Hirst Executrices
  The said France Elizabeth Hirst by Instrument in writing bearing date the sixteenth day of October 1914 renounced Probate and execution of the said will
  It is necessary to have the said will proved.
  Wherefore your petitioner humbly prays a hearing hereof and that you Honor may be pleased to grant Probate of the said Will of the said Robert Edward Creer deceased to your petitioner with such other and further relief as is meet and your petitioner will ever pray etc etc.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at Douglas on Monday the 19th day of October 1914 at 10.20 o’clock in the forenoon whereof all proper parties and person to have due notice.

Margaret died in 1920, before having fully adminstered Robert's estate, and a court then granted adminstration de bonis non of his estate to his daughter, Ada Frances Creer, who was also adminstering Margaret's estate.
In His Majesty’s High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man Common Law Division Testamentary Jurisdiction
  At a court held at Douglas on the 29th day of November 1920.
  The annexed paper writing dated 17th day of June 1901 having been proved on the 19th day of October 1914 as the last will and testament of Robert Edward Creer late of No 8 Rose Mount in the borough of Douglas retired grocer deceased who died on the 6th day of October 1914 at no 8 Rose Mount aforesaid and probate thereof granted to Margaret Eleanor Creer widow the relict of the testator. One of the Executrices named in the said Will Frances Elizabeth Hirst the other executrix named therein having renounced the probate and execution of the said Will. And it is this day appearing that the said Margaret Eleanor Creer hath lately departed this life without having fully administered the estate of the said Robert Edward Creer. This court hath therefore granted administration de bonis non (with his said will annexed) of the personal estate and effects of the said Robert Edward Creer deceased to  Ada Frances Creer also of No 8 Rosemount
