In the name of God Amen – I Elizabeth Hulke of Deale in the County of Kent widow Administratrix of all and singular the goods and chathells of Benjamin Hulke my late husband deceased bee ill and indisposed in body but of sound and perfect memory praised be God for the same do make and declare this my last will & Testament in writing the nineteenth day of September in the first yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James the second now King of England & Anno Dni 1685 in manner following Impris I commend my soule to God my creator trusting by the alone merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to be made partaker of a better life after this mortall life ended My body I comitt to the earth to be buryed at the discretion of my Executrix here after named  Whereas upon my attempt passed in Court upon my adminstration of the goods and chathells of my said late husband there is proportioned and allotted unto Benjamin Hulke William Hulke and John Hulke and Elizabeth Hulke my grandchildren the sum of thirty eight pounds fifteen shillings and one penny to every of them to be paid out of the said estate which sums so payable unto my said sonne Benjamin Hulke – I have already paid unto him with an overplus he being of age Never the les.. to the end that love & friendship may abide and continue amongst my surviving children as is meete and I desire not withstanding what he hath already received from me I do hereby give and bequeath unto him my said sonne Benjamin the sume of Thirty eight pounds six shillings and eight pence of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him by my Executors within six monthes next after my decease  Also I bequeath unto him seaven broad peeces of gold whereof one is a two and twenty shilling peece commonly called a Jacobus also two silver spoones a silver ….and a Ring marked B.H.  Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne William Hulke his executors admins and assignes in satisfaction of what is soe allothed unto him out of his said fathers personall estate All that tenement  or dwelling house the ground and appurtences thereunto belong. Situtate and being upon the Beach in Deale being leasehold under Mr Richard Gookin and now in the tenure or occupation of Arthur Wallenger or his assignes  Also I give and bequeath unto him my said sonne William the sume of Thirty three pounds six shillings and eight pence to be paid unto him within six months next after my decease  Also I go give unto him seaven peeces of broad gold three silver spoones a gold ring marked E.H. all that bedsteede in the low roome in the house where I now dwell with all the bedding and furniture thereunto belonging as it now stands three paire of sheetes a diaper tablecloth a dozen of diaper napkins a paire of Holland pillow coats three pewter dishes a pewter Tanker a case of drawers standing in the Chamber in the messuage where I now dwell, and my part of a boate belonging to Deale beach.  Item I will that my said daughter Elizabeth now the wife of Jeffery Snoswell of Deale Marriner and he the said Jeffery in satisfaction of what is allotted to her out of her fathers personall estate upon my …… there.. passed as aforesaid shall during their naturall lives and the life of the longest of them have …. And take all the Rents issues and profits of all that messuage or Tenement the …. Buildings ground and appurtennes thereunto belonging on the Beach in Deale now in my owne occupation being also my Leasehold under the said Mr Richard Gookin   And from and after the decease of them the said Jeffery and Elizabeth and the longest liver of them I will and bequeath the said Messuage ground and buildings shall remaine unto the heires of the body of him the said Jeffery on the body of her the said Elizabeth lawfull begotten and to be begotten and for wants of such heires to the heires of the body of her the said Elizabeth lawfully begotten and for want of such heires to the said Benjamin Hulke and William Hulke my sonnes their executors admd and assignes And to the end and intent that the said messuage or Tenement buildings and pre…… with their appurtences may be and remaine according to the limitation aforesaid  I do hereby give and bequeath all the said messuage or Tenement ?Buildings grounds and Premisses with their appurtennes unto Nicholas Saffery of Deale Glasier my brother and to Isaac Peirce of Eythorne Chirurgion my kinsman there Executors Adms and assignes upon trust and confidence never the less that they the said Nicholas Saffery and Isaac Peirce and the survivor of them and the Executors adms and assisnes of them and the survivor of them shall permit and suffer the said Jeffery Snoswll and Elizabeth his wife during their lives and the life of the longest liver of them to have  xxxx and take all the rents issues and profits of the said messuage buildings ground and …. With their appurtennes to their owne xxx use they mainteyinge the said buildings well repaired and duly paying the Rent xxx and payable for the same unto the said Richard Gookin his heires or assignes  And upon farther trust and confidence that they the said Nicholas Saffery and Isaac Peirce and the survivors of them and the Executors adms or assignes of them or the survivor of them shall after the death of the said Jeffery Snoswell and Elixabeth his wife and the longest liver of them forthwith assigne and sett over the said Messuage buildings grounds and premises withtherir appurtennes  And xxx their estate here  in xxxx and demands to the same unto the heires of the body of him the said Jeffery on the body of her the said Elixabeth lawfully begotten and to be begotten at the charge of such heires and for want of such heires to the heires of the body of the said Elizabeth, and for want of such heires to the said Benjamin Hulke and William Hulke their executors adms and assignes Provided always and my minde and will is that upon ….. or now taking of any lease or leases of the prexxxx that the same shall be taken in the names of the said Nicholas Saffery and Isaac Peirce or the survivor of them or the Executors or admt or assignes of the survivor of them And that upon such renewing  they the said leasees or leased  of the pre….. shall be Indentures to be made betweene the said leasees or leascer of the premises of the one part & the said Jeffery Snoswell and Elizabeth his wife of the other part or the survivors of them declare the trust of the said Lease to be the use as before expressed  And I will that the said Jeffery Snoswell and Elizabeth his wife or the survivor of them shall be at the charge of such renewing of such Lease of the said Premises and Indentures to declare the said trust  And that otherwise it shall and may be lawful to and for the said Leasees of the Premises to de…. To … out of the Rents profits and .. omisses as will pay and discharge the same rendering unto them the said Jeffery and Elizabeth or the survivour of them the overplus And so from time to time so often as the said lease is the premises shall be renewed by the said Richard Gookin his heirs or assignes  Also I give and bequeath to my said daughter Elizabeth the summe of Thirty three pounds six shillings and eight pence of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her within six months next after my decease  Also I give unto her six peeces of broadgold my wedding ring and a Stone ring two silver spoones and all my wearing apparrall woollen and linen, and all my moveable goods and household stuffe not before bequeathered to be delivered unto her by my Executors Item I give unto my said sonne in law Jeffery Snoswell one hoope Ring marked E.H. unto my grandchild Elizabeth daughter of my soone Benjamin one gold ring with three stones in it  And unto my said brother Nicholas Saffery one moorning ring  Item I forgive unto my said soone in law Jeffery Snoswell and Elizabeth his wife all debts and demands due oweing or which I can any way …  from them or either of them  And I do hereby farther will that after my debts legacy & funeral expenses charges in and about pro….
